Borg Labs, LLC ("Borg Labs," "we," "us," or "our") operates the mobile application Den: Couples & Relationship (the "App" or "Service").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use Den.

By using Den, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

A. Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Phone number (used for authentication via Clerk)
• Name
• Profile photo (if provided)
• Partner name
• Onboarding status
• Timezone
• Notification preferences

We do not require an email address to create an account.

B. User Content

Den is a private couples platform. We collect content you choose to create or upload, including:

• Private messages between partners
• Game responses
• Photos (including daily selfies, memories, widget photos, and AI feature uploads)

This content is visible only to you and your selected partner.

Private sexually explicit content between consenting adults is permitted. However, content involving minors, exploitation, non-consensual material, or illegal activity is strictly prohibited.

C. Location Information (Optional Feature)

If you enable the location feature:

• We collect real-time location data from your device.
• Your location is shared only with your selected partner.
• Location tracking is strictly opt-in.
• You may disable location sharing at any time in your device settings.
• We do not sell location data.
• Location data is not used for advertising.

D. Technical Information

To operate the Service, we may collect limited technical information, including:

• Device platform (iOS)
• Push notification token
• Permission status
• Infrastructure-level logs (such as IP address) collected by our hosting providers

We do not use third-party advertising SDKs.

E. Payment Information

Paid subscriptions are processed exclusively through Apple's App Store using Apple In-App Purchases.

We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status.

We do not collect or store your credit card information.

Apple may collect payment and billing information according to its own privacy policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate Den
• Authenticate users
• Enable partner connections
• Provide optional location sharing
• Process subscriptions
• Maintain security and prevent misuse
• Respond to support inquiries
• Enforce our Terms of Service

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We use trusted service providers to operate Den:

• Clerk (authentication)
• Supabase (database, storage, infrastructure)
• RevenueCat (subscription management)
• Apple (in-app purchases)
• Expo (push notification infrastructure)
• OpenAI (AI-powered features)

These providers process data only as necessary to provide services on our behalf.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information only as long as necessary to operate the Service and comply with legal obligations.

User content remains stored until:

• You delete it, or
• You delete your account.

6. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time within the App:

Settings → Delete Account

When you delete your account:

• Your account information is permanently deleted.
• Partnership-scoped content is deleted.
• Associated stored media is removed.

Some limited backup data may temporarily persist for security or legal compliance purposes.

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

7. Children's Privacy

Den is intended for users who are at least 13 years old.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has created an account, we will delete the account.

8. Security

We use encrypted infrastructure and industry-standard safeguards to protect your information.

Data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit. Data is also encrypted at rest by our infrastructure providers.

However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• Request access to your information
• Request deletion
• Request correction of inaccuracies

10. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date.
